Note:
When no more
charging units or currency
units are left, calls may only
be possible to the
emergency number
programmed into your
phone (e.g. 112 or other
official emergency number).
• Prepaid credit: If you use a
prepaid SIM card, you can make
calls only when there are enough
credit units on the SIM card
(network service). Options: Credit
info display (to show or hide
remaining units in standby
mode), Credit available (to view
the number of remaining units),
Last event costs (to view
information about previous
calls), Recharge status.

Tones
(Menu 5)
In this menu you can change the
settings of the currently selected
profile and create ringing tones of
your own. See also ”Profiles (Menu
12)” on page 29.
To access this menu:
In standby
mode, press (Menu), scroll to
Tones, and press (Select).
• Ringing tone: You can select the
tone that rings when you receive
a call.
• Ringing volume: You can select
the volume level for the ringing
tones and message alert tones.
• Incoming call alert: You can
select the way the phone notifies
you of incoming voice calls. For
example, if you select Off, the
phone remains silent when you
receive a call and is shown in
standby mode.
• Composer :
You can
create your
own ringing
tones. Select
one of the
preset tones that you want to
edit and key in the notes. For
example, press for note

shortens (-) and
lengthens (+) the note or rest to
the left of the cursor. inserts
a rest. sets the octave.
makes the note sharp (not
available for notes
e
and
b
).
and move the cursor right or
left. deletes a note or rest to
the left.
When the tone is complete, press
(Options) and select one of
the following functions: Play, Save
(to add the tone to the ringing
tone list), Tempo, Send (to send
the tone to a compatible phone),
Clear screen, Exit.
