conference call with an outside party.
1 During an outside call, press MMenuN to
put the call on hold.
2 MbN: “Intercom” a MOKN
3 MbN: Select the desired unit. a MOKN
4 Wait for the paged party to answer.
R If the paged party does not answer,
press MBackN to return to the outside
call.
5 To complete the transfer:
Press M
N.
To establish a conference call:
MMenuN a MbN: “Conference” a MOKN
R To leave the conference, press
M
N. The other 2 parties can
continue the conversation.
R To put the outside call on hold:
MMenuN a MbN: “Hold” a MOKN
To resume the conference: MMenuN
a MbN: “Conference” a MOKN
R To cancel the conference: MMenuN a
MbN: “Stop Conference” a MOKN
You can continue the conversation
with the outside caller.
Note:
R You can also select your smartphone in this
feature using a handset, if your smartphone
is registered to the base unit (page 40).
Intercom
Intercom calls can be made between handsets
in the same radio cell.
Note:
R When paging the handset, the paged
handset beeps for 1 minute.
R If you receive an outside call while talking
on the intercom, you hear 2 tones. To
answer the call, press M
N, then press
M
N.
R You can also select your smartphone in this
feature using a handset, if your smartphone
is registered to the base unit (page 40).

3 When you finish talking, press M

Answering an intercom call
1 Press M
N to answer the page.
2 When you finish talking, press M N.
Turning auto intercom on/off
This feature allows the handset to answer
intercom calls automatically when it is called.
You do not need to press M
N. When this
feature is set to “On”, the monitoring handset
for the baby monitor feature (page 31) will
also answer baby monitor calls automatically.
The default setting is “Off”.

Key lock
The handset can be locked so that no calls or
settings can be made. Incoming calls can be
answered, but all other functions are disabled
while key lock is on.
To turn key lock on, press MMenuN (right soft
key) for about 3 seconds.
R To turn key lock off, press MKey lockN (right
soft key) for about 3 seconds.
Note:
R Calls to emergency numbers cannot be
made until key lock is turned off.
