Chapter 6. AT&T Music
This device comes with Microsoft® Windows Media Player® 10.3. You
can play Windows® Media Audio, Windows Media Video, and MP3 audio
files that are stored on your phone, on a memory card, or on the Web.
You can open Windows Media Player like this:
1 On the home screen, press Start > All Programs > AT&T Music >
[O].
2 Select Windows Media Player > [O].

NOTE
Content providers use a technology called Digital Rights Management
(DRM), to encrypt the files.That makes some options unable to operate.
The reason some digital media files are encrypted is to prevent these files
from being unlawfully distributed or shared.
COPYING MEDIA FILES
You can use ActiveSync® to copy media files from a computer to your
phone.
1 Connect your phone to a computer.
2 Start synchronization.
3 Open the file directory on the phone using File Explorer.
4 Drag the media files and drop them into a folder.
Windows Media Player automatically retrieves. But, if the media files do
not appear in Library, update the library by pressing the Windows Media
Player’s Menu and selecting Update Library
.
You can also use the desktop Windows® Media Player® to copy media
files. Licenses and protected files are copied. And also make sure that
you have Windows® Media Player® 10.3 or later versions on your
desktop computer. If you use different version of your Windows® Media
Player®, the procedure to copy files may vary.
1 Connect your phone to a computer.
2 Start synchronization.
3 Open Windows® Media Player® on the computer.
