Chapter 14. Settings
AUTO ANSWER
Set how quickly calls are automatically answered during hands-free
operation. These settings do not apply when the ring type is Silent.
AUTO LOCK
Refer Basic functions of the Chapter 2 Basic Operation.
CALL FORWARDING
1 On the home screen, press Start >All Programs > More > Settings
> Phone >Call Forwarding. Choose one of the following:
•
Unconditional: Forward all calls.
•
No Reply: Forward calls when your line is not answered.
•
Busy: Forward calls when your line is busy.
•
Unavailable: Forward calls when your phone is off or out of
service range.
•
Data calls: Forward all data calls.
•
Fax calls: Forward all fax calls.
2 Enter the number to which you want the calls forwarded.
3 Make sure enable call forwarding is selected.
4 Press Done.
CALL OPTIONS
You can customize settings related to call functions, such as an
answering option, voicemail and SMS access.
1 On the home screen, press Start > All Programs > More >Settings
> Phone > Call Options.
Available setting options:
•
Any key answer: When this option is activated, you can answer
incoming calls by pressing any key.
•
Show SIM contacts: With this option is activated, the contact
cards stored on the SIM card display in Contacts.
•
Phone number: Check your phone number.
