Sound Settings
You can use the Sound Settings feature to customise
various settings, such as the:
• Ringing tone, volume and type
• Sounds made when you press a key, make an
error or receive a message
N o t e: To switch to the silence mode, hold down the
key with the flip cover closed. The phone
displays S i l e n c e .
The phone vibrates instead of beeping when
you press a key or are to be informed of an
event.
Ring Ty p e Menu 4-1
This option allows you to select the required ringing
melody. You can choose between fifteen melodies.
Ring Vo l u m e Menu 4-2
This option allows you to adjust the ringing volume
to one of eight levels. Use the and keys on the
left side of the phone. The greater the number of
bars, the greater the volume.
Alert Ty p e Menu 4-3
This option allows you to indicate how you are to be
i n f o rmed of any incoming calls. The following options
a re available.
Melody: the phone rings using the ringing melody
selected via menu option 4-1.
