Security Settings
To access this menu, you must first enter the phone
lock code. The Security Settings feature enables you
to restrict the use of your phone to:
• The people of your choice
• The types of calls of your choice
Various codes and passwords are used to protect the
features of your phone. They are described in the
following sections (see also pages 22-25).
PIN Access Menu 7-1
When the PIN Access feature is enabled, you must
enter your PIN each time you switch the phone on.
Any person who does not have your PIN cannot,
therefore, use your phone without your approval.
N o t e : B e f o re disabling the PIN Access feature, you
must enter your PIN.
If this option is enabled on your SIM card and
the service provider does not allow it to be
changed, the option is not displayed.

following page.
