: allows you to exit the menu and return to the Personalize options.

Time and Date
This menu allows you to change the current time and date displayed.
1. From Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Personalize ➔
Time and Date
and press Select or .
The following options are available:
• Time zone updating
: allows you to receive time information from T-Mobile’s network.
–
Automatic
: the phone automatically updates the time and date according to the current time zone using the network service.
–
Manual only
: you need to manually set the time and date according to the current time zone using the Set time menu.

Prompt first
: the phone asks for a confirmation before the update.
•Time zone
: displays a selectable list of 30 different time zones. Displays only if Manual only or Prompt first is selected.

Set daylight saving time
: allows you to activate (turn On) or deactivate (turn Off) Daylight saving time.
•Time
: allows you to change the hour and minute.
•Time format
: allows you to select whether your time displays in either a 12 hours or 24 hours format.
•Date
: allows you to enter the month, day, and year.
•Date format
: allows you to select the format in which your date displays.
To change your time and date settings:
1. Highlight the
Time zone updating
field and use the
Left
or
Right
Navigation key to select
Manual
only
or
Prompt first
.
Important!:
The Manual only or Prompt first option must be selected to activate the Time zone, Time, Date, and Time format.
2. Highlight the
Time zone
field and press . Scroll left or right to select the desired Time zone, then press
Select
.
3. Highlight the
Time
field and enter the time as you would text. For more information, refer to “Using Number
Mode” on page 48.
