Changing the BacklightTime Length
The backlight setting lets you select how long the display screen and
keypad are backlit after any key press is made.
To change the Main LCD or Sub LCD backlight setting:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Select Settingsand press .
3. Select Displayand press .
4. Select Backlightand press .
5. Select Main LCDor Sub LCD and press .
6. Select Always On, Always Off,or your defined time length and
press .

Always Offalways turns the backlight off.
Ⅲ
Always Onkeeps the backlight on indefinitely.
Note:The Always Onsetting returns to the previous value the next time you turn
on the phone.
To change the Keypad backlight setting:
1. Select Keyduring previous step 5, and press .
2. Select Always Offor your defined time length and press .
Note:Long backlight settings affect the battery’s talk and standby times.
