Before using your BlackBerry device in global roaming mode, you must activate
Sprint Worldwide service.
To activate Sprint Worldwide service:
ᮣ Chat with or email an international support rep. Visit www.sprint.com/international,
click T
raveling with a Sprint Device, and then click the Chat with us or Email us link
on the right side of the screen.
ᮣ Call Sprint Worldwide Customer support at 1-888-226-7212, option 2.
Note: Your BlackBerry device is compatible with European and worldwide voltage
standards; however, an additional power adapter is required. To purchase an
approved adapter, please visit
www.shopblackberry.com.
Your SIM Card
Your BlackBerry device comes with a preinstalled SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card to
support roaming on compatible GSM/UMTS networks.
Note: Your SIM card should be preinstalled. If you need to reinstall your SIM card, please
follow the instructions below.
