Problem Solution
The paper curls.
Printed pages are
curled.
You may need to turn over the stack of
paper in your paper cassette and try
printing again. Most paper has a natural
“curl” that may be emphasized when
the
paper is run through a laser printer. One
side of the paper tends to curl more than
the other side.
Another way to minimize paper curl is to
use the face-up output tray. This tray
provides a straight-through paper path,
reducing excessive curling. To select face-
up printing, move the paper path selector
on
the
left side of the printer to the down
position.
If the
SPECIAL
button is set for
the
high
fusing temperature
(the
# symbol is
displayed), press the button to select the
lower temperature setting (the # symbol is
no longer displayed). (However, the
lower temperature is not recommended
for envelopes or heavy paper.)
If
these
suggestions do not help, it is
recommended that you use a different
type of paper.
