The gear pump (P3) flow test should be performed to
make sure that the traction charge circuit and steering
circuit have adequate hydraulic flow.
Procedure for Gear Pump (P3) Flow
Test
1. Make sure hydraulic oil is at normal operating tem-
perature by operating the machine under load for
approximately ten (10) minutes.
2. Park machine on a level surface with the cutting
decks lowered and PTO switch off. Make sure engine is
off. Apply the parking brake.
