3.4.1 Receiving an Incoming Call on a 2nd Line
Now that you know how to place calls, we’re going to show you how to retrieve an incoming
call on a second VoIP number if you’re already talking on a first one. For example, let’s say
you’re talking to Jasmine on Line 1 (using VoIP account ‘1001’, from our previous examples)
and Sebastian calls in on Line 2 (or VoIP account ‘1002’).
To recieve an incoming call on a different line:
1 While talking on Line 1, your LCD menu screen shows your current call status.
Here, Line 1 From indicates you’re currently talking to the Jasmine.
2 When a new call comes in on a different line while you’re in the middle of the first call,
the V500 notifies you on screen by displaying Ringing in the lower right corner.
The first available Line key also starts blinking; in this case, it is Line 2 because Line 1
is already being used to speak with Jasmine.
