9.5 Memory
Access this feature by selecting “Extras” from the main menu, then
“Memory”. Switch from the memory card to the phone memory tab
using the key.
9.5.1 Phone memory
View available memory space.
Your telephone’s memory is shared between several functions:
directory, diary, messages, voice messages, images and melodies, games
and applications,video clips.For example,if you use a lot of memory for
your voice memos, you will have less memory available for the
directory.
Do not forget to delete or store on miniSD Card large items
such as images, photos, recorded sounds, applications, video
clips..., in order to free up memory space, otherwise the
performance of your terminal may be affected.You can also
delete certain items included in your telephone on purchase.
9.5.2 Memory Card (miniSD Card)
View the memory available on your miniSD Card.
You’re advised to save large files (like videos, songs, …) on
your miniSD Card to save your phone memory (see page 73).

For the former European national currencies, the currency converter uses the final Euro conversion
rates set on 31/12/1998,which are used in accordance with official conversion rules.
9.4 Converter
Access this feature by selecting “Extras” from the main menu,then “Converter”.
The currency converter allows you to:
• Convert a currency directly into euros and vice versa

• Convert a sum of money into another currency (e.g. dollars to pounds).
For a conversion into euros,you can modify the default currency by selecting “Set up”.
If converting between international currencies, both currencies must be selected.You must also enter the
appropriate exchange rate.
An exchange rate value is pre-set for each currency.You can change this value by selecting “Set up”.
From the main screen,enter the amount in euros to be converted into the programmed currency,
then press the “Options” softkey and select “Converter”.
