Push to Talk (PTT)
Public Group Service vs Corporate Group
Service
The PTT Service which is described above is called
Public Group Service. General users like you can
add/delete contact that you want to PTT and create
Group. Whereas, PTT service that is controlled by one
administrator in Corporate environment in order to
control person or group to PTT is called Corporate
Group Service.
Administrator can handle centralized corporate
contact management via the Push to Talk Corporate
Administrator website. Contact your business sales
representative, or www.cingular.com/ptt for more
information.
The followings are different functions from Public
Group Service.
Adding a Individual Member (notification when done
by the administrator)
• Assume this message appears on the handset of
the person who has had an individual contact
pushed to his/her phone.
• User Message: <Contact Name> has joined Your
Contact List
Adding a Group Member (notification when done by
the administrator)
• Assume this message appears on the handset of
the person who has had a group contact pushed to
his/her phone.
• User Message: <Contact Name> has joined <Group
Name>
Deleting an Individual Member (by user)
• This function is not supported. Please contact your
Corporate Administrator.
Deleting a Group Member (by user)
• This function is not supported. Please contact your
Corporate Administrator.
Deleting an Individual Member (notification, when
done by the administrator)
• Assume this message appears on the handset of
the person who has had an individual contact
deleted from his/her phone by the administrator.
• User Message: < Contact Name > has deleted you
from their PTT Contacts.
