26 Using Your Phone
Phone Book
Adding Contacts to the Phone Book
The Phone Book will have different formats and data headings
depending on whether you have chosen to use a phone book stored on
your SIM card or in your phone's memory. The phone book in your
phone's memory can store up to 500 contacts. The capacity of a phone
book on your SIM card depends on the particular service provided by
your network vendor.

3. After completing the data for the various fields, you must press
(Options) and then select Save in order for the contact's data to be
stored in the Phone Book.
1. In the standby screen, enter the phone number you
wish to store, and then press (Save). The
display will show the default data fields for a new
contact.
2. In the contact data screen, scroll to the data field
that you wish to edit, and then press
(Options) to bring up a pop-up menu. You can then
use the following options with the contact data:
Save: Save the entries you have entered.
Change Type: Change the category of the phone
number (for example, from Mobile Number to
Home Number). This option can only be used in the
phone number data field.
Add New Field: Adds other data fields for a contact.
Delete Field: Removes the selected data field.
