Inserting/Removing the SIM Card
IMPORTANT: If you remove your SIM card and insert it into another phone, some
informationdoes notdisplaywhenyou use thenew phonewith your SIM
card. All Phonebook information remains stored on youroriginal SIM
card. Thefollowing informationdoes not display:
IMPORTANT: Do not touch the gold-colored areas ofthe SIM card.
To avoid loss or damage,do not remove your SIMcard from your phone
unless absolutely necessary.
To Remove the SIM Card
• Datebook Notifications • Recent Calls List
• Personalized Settings • Information Stored in Memo
• Net Alert Notifications • Previous three GPS Enabled Locations

With the phone powered off, remove the battery cover and battery. See
“Detaching the Battery” on page 16.

With the antenna pointing up and
thebackof thephone exposedand
facing up, locate the SIM cover
andgentlypushitforward.

Lift the SIM cover up.
