To activate predictive text input, select

Activate prediction
. The indicator
is
displayed. When you start
writing a word, your device
suggests possible words. When
the correct word is found,
scroll right to confirm it. While writing, you can also scro
ll
down to access a list of sugg
ested words. If the desired word
is on the list, select the word
. If the word you are writing is
not in the dictionary of the device, the device suggests a
possible word, while the word you were writing is
shown
above the suggested word. Scroll up to select your word.
The
word is added to the dictionary when you start writing the
next word.
To deactivate predictive text input, select
Options >
Input
options >
Deactivate prediction
.
To define the settings for text input, select
Options
> Input

> Settings
.
To change the writing language, select Options
> Input
options
> Writing language
.
Find items
When a search field is available in the application, you
can
use the search field to search for a name, file, or application.
1. To search for an item, enter
text in the search field. The
device will immediately start to search and filter the
entries matching to the text you input. The more texts you
input, the more accurate th
e search result will be. When
entering text, use the inpu
t methods included in your
device. The current input meth
od indicator will be shown
in the search field near the magnifier icon.
2. After finding your needed
item, press the scroll key to
open it.
Volume control
To adjust the earpiece volume
during a phone call or the
volume of the media applicat
ions, use the volume keys.

messages containing tips, tricks, and support for your Nokia
device. If My Nokia is available in your country and su
pported
by your service provider, your device invites you to join the
My Nokia service after you have set the time and the date.
To sign-up to My Nokia , select
Accept and follow the
instructions on the display.
Call charges apply when you send messages to sign up or
unsubscribe.
