To view a visualisation during playback, select Options >
Show visualisation.
To return to the home screen and leave the player playing in
the background, press the end key.
Say and Play
With Say and Play, you can start playing the music you wish
by saying, for example, the artist's name.
To start the Say and Play application, press and hold the * key.
When the tone sounds, say an artist's name, artist's name and
song title, album title, or playlist title. Hold the device about
20 cm (8 inches) from your mouth, and speak in a regular
tone. Do not cover the device microphone with your hand.
When you use Say and Play for the first time, and after you
have downloaded new songs to your device, to update voice
commands, select Options > Refresh.
Tip: You can also start the Say and Play application by
selecting Menu > Music > Music search.
The voice commands are based on the metadata (artist's
name and song title) of the songs in your device. Say and Play
supports two spoken languages: English and the language
you have chosen as the device language. The written
language of the song metadata must match either English or
your chosen device language.
Tip: To improve search accuracy, use the voice
commands for dialling. The dialler adapts to your voice
and uses it also for music search.
Transfer music from PC
To transfer music from your PC, connect your device to the PC
using Bluetooth connectivity or a compatible USB data cable.
If you are using the USB cable, select Mass storage as the
connection mode. Make sure that a compatible memory card
is inserted in the device.
If you selectPC Suite as the connection mode, you can use
Nokia Music to synchronise music between your device and
PC.
N-Gage™
You can play high-quality, multiplayer N-Gage games with
your device. N-Gage is a mobile gaming platform available
for a range of compatible Nokia mobile devices. To access N-
Gage games, players, and content, select the N-Gage
application in the main menu.
For the full N-Gage experience, you need internet access on
your device, either through the cellular network or wireless
LAN. Contact your service provider for more information on
data services.
Note: All N-Gage services, where connection to N-
Gage servers is required, such as game file downloading,
game purchase, online games, multiplayer gaming, creating
a player name, chat and messaging, involve transmission of
large amounts of data (network service).
