16. Voice commands
Before using voice tags, note the following:
Voice tags are not language-dependent. They are
dependent on the speaker's voice.
You must say the name exactly as you said it when you
recorded it.
Voice tags are sensitive to background noise. Record voice
tags and use them in a quiet environment.
Very short names are not accepted. Use long names, and
avoid similar names for different numbers.
Note: Using voice tags may be difficult in a noisy
environment or during an emergency, so you should not rely
solely upon voice dialling in all circumstances.
You can use voice commands to make phone calls, launch
applications, and activate profiles.
The device creates a voice tag for contacts, profiles, and
applications. Voice commands are not dependent on a
speaker’s voice; however, the voice recognition in the device
adapts to the main user’s voice to recognise voice commands
better.
To use a voice command, press and hold the right selection
key, and clearly say the voice command. If the device does
not recognise the voice command correctly, select from the
list of other matches, or Quit to cancel.
