THE ANTENNA
Your device has an internal antenna. As with any
other radio transmitting device, do not touch the
antenna unnecessarily when the device is switched
on. Contact with the antenna affects call quality and
may cause the phone to operate at a higher power
level than otherwise needed. Avoiding contact with
the antenna area when operating the phone optimizes
the antenna performance and the battery life.
Hold the phone as you would any other telephone
with the antenna pointed up and over your shoulder.
Warning: If the phone becomes too hot during a call, the call is automatically
terminated. You will not be able to make or receive calls until the phone cools.
THE BATTERY
Installing
If your dealer has already installed the
battery, please see “Charging” on page 10.
1 Place the battery in the compartment
with the label side facing up and the
golden contact area aligned with the
contact pins.
2 Press the top end of the battery into place.
