TY
TTY (also known as a TDD or Text Telephone), is a
telecommunications device that allows people who
are deaf, hard of hearing, or who have speech or
language disabilities to communicate via telephone.
Your DM-P205 is compatible with select TTY devices.
Please check with the manufacturer of your TTY device
to ensure that it supports a digital wireless transmis-
sion. Your DM-P205 and TTY device will connect
through a special cable that plugs into your phone’s
headset jack. If this cable was not provided with your
TTY device, contact your TTY device manufacturer to
purchase the connector cable.
1. Press [MENU] .
2. Select “Enable TTY” or “Disable TTY,” then press
[OK].
Location
To determine whether or not the network system can
detect your position:
1. Press [MENU] .
2. Select “911 only” or “Location on,” then press
[OK].
NOTE:
IN “911 ONLY” MODE, FAMILY LOCATOR SERVICE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE OR
ACTIVE.
