12 Calling
Call handsfree
For your own comfort and safety, ensure you move the
phone away from your ear when calling handsfree,
especially when increasing the volume.
1.
In idle mode, enter the phone number using the
keypad or select a contact in the phonebook.
2.
Press , or C Options then select Dial >
Handsfree dial and press
, or C Select.
If you are already on the phone, long press
C
to switch
to handsfree mode and back.
Adjust speaker/earpiece volume
During a call, call on hold or call waiting, you can
press
</> or press the volume side keys to increase or
decrease the volume (if you are no browsing the call
options menu). When the volume has been set, the
call volume will take effect immediately and the
settings will be applied to your subsequent calls.
Options during a call
During a call, press C Options to access the following
options.
Activate h/free
This option allows you to use your mobile phone's
handsfree option. When the headset is plugged into
the phone, you cannot activate handsfree mode.
Mute/Unmute
Allows you to mute or unmute the microphone. If
you select mute, the microphone will be deactivated
so that your caller cannot hear you. When you switch
from one call to another, muting will be cancelled.
Record dialogue
In most countries, recording telephone conversation is
subject to legislation. We advise you to notify the caller
if you intend to record your conversation and only do
so if they agree.
During a call, press
C
Options
and select
Record
to
access the 3 recording options; namely, Record both
(default), Record the opposite party and Record own
(applicable to two-party calls or multi-party calls).
Long press
,
to start or end recording. When you end
the call, the recording will stop and be saved
automatically in AMR format under
My Files
>
Sounds
.
