Section 11: Push to Talk 106
Delete: this option allows you to delete a group. Deleting a group which you
originated deletes the group from PTT Contacts for all participants.
Leave Group: this option allows you to delete a group from your PTT
Contacts which you did not originate. The group will remain on the PTT
Contact lists of the other members and the originator receives a PTT
Message that you have left.
5. Press the Select soft key or the key to access the highlighted option.
6. Press the OK soft key or the key to save changes.
7. When you have finished, press the key.
Quick Group Shortcut
The Quick Group Shortcut allows you to select contacts individually and quickly.
1. Press the PTT key. The PTT Contacts list appears in the display.
2. Use the navigation key to highlight each contact you wish to select and
press the key to place a checkmark.
3. Once all participants are selected (may select up to 7) then press the PTT
key to begin the PTT call. The words “Quick Group Call” display on your
screen.
Note: When the call completes, “Quick Group Call” displays in your PTT Call Log. Although this call is logged
with your other PTT calls a call can not be placed to this entry.
4. When you have finished, press the key.
Dynamic Call
The Dynamic Call option allows you to make a call with only select members of your
group.
1. Press the PTT key. The PTT Contacts list appears in the display.
2. Use the navigation key to select a group and press the key. Highlight
the contact(s) and press the to place a checkmark.
3. Press and hold the PTT key. Connecting to Dynamic Group displays.
4. When you have finished the PTT call, release the PTT key.
Deleting PTT Contacts
1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access menu mode.
2. Highlight Push to Talk (PTT) and press the Select soft key or the key.
Using the Up or Down Navigation key, highlight PTT Contacts and press
the Select soft key or the key.
