Resetting the Phone
Resetting the phone erases all Phone Book entries, message
notifications, text messages, call logs, special numbers, and
returns all saved options to the default settings. In a nutshell - it
blows away all your settings. You really need to ask yourself
why you would want to do this. But in case you really do want
to, here it is.
To reset the phone:
1. Press to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for Security and enter the Lock Code.
3. Press for Reset Phone. A confirmation displays
explaining that you will erase your phonebook.
Remember - it’s not just the phonebook that will get
erased. All your settings, messages, and logs will be reset to
the factory defaults.
4. Press to reset the phone, or press to cancel
the operation.
Note: This is your last chance ! Be sure you want to do this
because THERE IS NO UNDO OF THIS ACTION ! !
5. To confirm resetting the phone, press again. The
phone reboots (turns itself off then on), restores the
default settings, blows away your messages, and then
returns to Standby mode. To cancel the operation before
resetting the phone, press .
