Emergency and Special Numbers
Three Emergency numbers (911, *911, and #911) are
permanently programmed into your phone. The Security menu
provides the option of storing three additional Special numbers.
Each Special number can be up to ten digits long.
All three emergency numbers and the three Special numbers
can be manually dialed at any time even if your phone is locked
or all outgoing calls are limited.
Note: By default, emergency services number 911 is also
stored in memory location 009. This allows you, from Standby
mode, to one-touch turbo dial to 911 emergency services
simply by pressing and holding the key. If desired, you
can store a different number into memory location 9, but this is
not recommended.
