KeyGuard
The Samsung 2500 Series phone has an automatic KeyGuard
function. Simply closing the flip enables KeyGuard. To disable
the KeyGuard, open the flip or press and hold the
button.
Ringer mute works even when KeyGuard is enabled. When
KeyGuard is enabled;
• press the key to mute the ringer on an incoming call or
message (it’s on the side of the phone)
Note: If KeyGuard is active, and you receive a short message,
the key becomes active so that you can view the
messages menu and then review the message (if you desire). If
you do not press any key within 10 seconds, then KeyGuard is
automatically re-activated.
Note: You are smart to enable the KeyGuard and Any Key
Answer features simultaneously. Why? Because this keeps your
keys guarded against accidental key presses, but when a call
arrives your phone enables Any Key Answer, thus allowing you
to answer the call easily.
