Dialing Emergency / Special Numbers
Note: An emergency or special number must be manually
dialed, but can be dialed anytime even if the phone is locked or
outgoing calls are totally limited.
To dial an emergency or special number:
1. Enter the emergency / special number (up to 10 digits) by
pressing the digit keys.
2. Press to place the call.
Over The Air Service Provisioning (OTASP)
Your Samsung 2500 Series Phone is capable of being
programmed “over the air” by your service provider. Your
carrier will provide you further information on this feature.
During an over-the-air programming session, your phone may
display the following messages on the LCD:
• “Search ... Download” means the phone is looking for the
data to download.
• “Progress Download” means the phone is downloading
data. Do not turn off the phone while this is occurring.
• “Download Success” means your phone has been
successfully reprogrammed. If “Download Failed” appears,
talk to your carrier.
