• New Message: allows you to configure Call Back #, Save
Message, Entry Method, Delivery Acknowledgment, and
Canned Messages.
To access the Msg Setup menu:
1. Press the left softkey for Menu.
2. Press for Messaging.
3. Press for Text Messaging.
4. Press for Msg Settings.
5. Press for General or for New Message.
General Options
The following options are available in the General Option settings.
These options allow you to customize options associated with
messaging.
Scroll Timer
The scroll timer allows you to set the length of time a message
requires to scroll across the screen. To access the scroll timer:
1. Press the left softkey for Menu.
2. Press for Messaging.
3. Press for Text Messaging.
4. Press for Msg Settings.
5. Press for General.
6. Press for Scroll Timer.
7. Press the navigation key up or down to select the desired
duration and press to Select.
