Count Down
H ave you ever wanted to know how mu ch time it takes yo u
to do something,or how many minu t e s ,h o u rs ,d ays and
months until a special event? The Count Down option can
help you answer these questions.You can create up to 5
Count Down timers using the Count Down fe a t u re in
C a l e n d a r.
To enter a Count Dow n :
1 . P ress to display the Main menu .
2 . P ress for Calendar.
3 . P ress for Countdow n .
4 . P ress to display options.
5 . P ress to enter a New Item.
6 . Enter the name of your new Count Dow n .To input tex t
and ch a ra c t e rs re fer to “ E n t e ring tex t ,nu m b e rs or sym-
b o l s ”on page 96.P ress when complete.
7 . Enter the date and time that you want to Count Dow n
f rom or Count Down to.For ex a m p l e ,if today ’s date is
Fe b ru a ry 14,2000 and you want to know how many
m o n t h s ,d ays and hours are left befo re 7:00PM Fe b ru a ry
2 4 ,2000 enter the time 07:00PM and the date
0 2 / 2 4 / 2 0 0 0 .
P ress the volume keys to toggle between AM and PM
or press for AM or for PM.
Count Downs can be entered for dates between the
ye a rs 1980 and 2099.
8 . P ress to save your new Countdown item.
To Do List
Your To Do list can help you keep tra ck of and pri o ri t i z e
the things you need to do.You can enter and pri o r itize up
to 20 items on your To Do List.
H e re ’s how to create a To Do List:
1 . P ress to display the Main menu .
2 . P ress for Calendar.
3 . P ress for Add To Do.
4 . Enter the item you need to do.To input text and ch a ra c-
t e rs re fer to “ E n t e r ing tex t ,nu m b e rs or symbols”on page
9 6 .
5 . P ress .
6 . Enter the time and date and press .
7 . Using the navigation key ( ) ,set the pri o rity for a To
Do List item.Your choices are High and Low.
8 . P ress to save your pri o r itized To Do List item.
To view, e d i t ,add or erase To Do List items
1 . P ress for the Main menu .
2 . P ress for Calendar.
3 . P ress for To Do List.
4 . Using the navigation key ( ) find the To Do List item
you want to ch a n ge and press .
5 . P ress the digit key corresponding to the action that yo u
wa n t .Your choices are New Item,Edit Item,E rase Item
and Exit.
6 . C o n t i n ue to add a new item,edit an existing item or
e rase an existing item by fo l l o wing the pro m p t s .
