Display Settings
Changing the Text Greeting
The text greeting can be up to fifteen characters and is
displayed on your phone’s screen in standby mode. You may
choose to keep the phone’s defaultgreeting (“Sprint”), or you
may enter your own custom greeting.
To display or change your custom greeting:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Display().
4. Select Greeting.
5. Select Custom().
6. Enter a custom greeting using your keypad (see
“Entering Text”on page 43) and press .
To display the defaultgreeting (“Sprint”):
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Display().
4. Select Greeting.
5. Select Default ().
