INK CARTRIDGE ERROR
REPLACE CARTRIDGE
CSIC error has occurred. Remove the ink cartridge and reinstall it. If the
message remains, replace the cartridge with a
new one.
INK LEVER
LOWER THE LEFT (or
RIGHT) INK LEVER
One of the ink levers is raised. Pull the lever down to lock the ink cartridges.
INK LOW Ink cartridge(s) are nearly
empty (printing continues).
Make sure you have replacement cartridges
available; see page 127. Print quality may
decline when ink is low.
INK OUT
INSTALL NEW
CARTRIDGE
Ink cartridge(s) are empty
(printing stops).
Replace the ink cartridge(s) indicated on the
LCD display; see page 127.

LOAD PAPER
Paper is not loaded. Load paper.

Paper lever is released Pull the lever all the way forward, to the
secured position. Start printing again from the
beginning for best results.

The black ink cartridge option
does not match what is
selected in the driver
A non-Epson ink cartridge is
installed.
Stop printing, and then press and hold the
Pause button for 3 seconds. Select the
correct black ink cartridge option in the driver;
see page 135. If you want to continue printing,
press the
Pause button.
Press and hold the Pause button for
3 seconds to cancel printing. If you want to
continue printing, press the
Pause button.
MAINTENANCE
REQUEST
A printer part may need to be
replaced soon.
Note the code number and contact Epson as
described on page 11.
MAINT TANK NEAR FULL
REPLACE THE
MAINTENANCE TANK
The maintenance tank is almost
full.
Make sure you have a replacement
maintenance tank; see page 141.
