To reset the phone
1. Scroll to

2. Enter the phone lock code (the default is
0000
) and press YES.
Most modern SIM cards automatically set the display language to the
language of the country where you bought your SIM card. If this is
not the case, the default language is English.
To change the display language
1. Scroll to

2. Select the language you want.
Note! If by accident you end up with your phone displaying a lan-
guage you do not understand, you can return to English by pressing
CLR, LEFT, 0000, RIGHT.
You can have your phone number displayed when you turn the phone
on. This requires that you have replaced the Ericsson greeting with a
greeting text of your own, or turned the Ericsson greeting off. If your
phone number cannot be retrieved from your SIM card, you have to
enter it yourself.
