Managing Canned Messages
Your phone is pre-set with twenty canned messages to help make
sending text messages faster and easier. These messages, such as
“Where are you?,” “Let’s get lunch,” and “Meet me at,” can be
customized or deleted to suit your needs. You can even add your own
canned messages to the list.
To edit or delete a canned message:
1. Press Menu(left softkey) to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings ().
3. Select Messaging (
)

4. Select Canned Messages (
)
. (The list of canned messages
displays.)
5. To edit or delete a canned message, highlight it and press
Options (right softkey).
6. Select Edit ( ), edit the selected message (see “Entering Text”
on page 26), and press .

Select Erase ( ), then select Erase ( ) to delete the selected
message. (Select Cancel [ ] to cancel the deletion.)
To add a new canned message:
1. Press Menu(left softkey) to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings ().
3. Select Messaging (
)
.
4. Select Canned Messages (
)
. (The list of canned messages
displays.)
5. To add a new canned message, press Add New (left softkey).
6. Enter your canned message (see “Entering Text” on page 26),
and press . (Your new message will be added to the
beginning of the list.)
