Using Your Phone’s Lock Feature
Locking Your Phone
When your phone is locked, you can only receive incoming calls or
make calls to 911, Sprint PCS Customer Solutions, or special
numbers. (See “Using Special Numbers” on page 49.)
To lock your phone:
1. From the Security menu, select Lock Phone ().
2. Highlight Lockand press . (To set your phone to lock the
next time it is turned on, select On Power Up and press .)
Unlocking Your Phone
To unlock your phone:
1. From standby mode, press Unlock(right softkey).
2. Enter your lock code.
Changing the Lock Code
To change your lock code:
1. Press Menu(left softkey) to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings().
3. Select Security().
4. Enter your lock code. (The Security menu is displayed.)
5. Select Change Lock ().
6. Enter your new lock code.
7. Re-enter your new lock code.
Calling in Lock Mode
You can place calls to 911 and to your special numbers when in
lock mode. (For information on special numbers, see “Using Special
Numbers” on page 49.)
To place an outgoing call in lock mode:
