page 32, however, sets all call restrictions and locking
so that no memories are accessible.
All these options will be temporarily overridden if the
phone is locked (to lock the phone, use Menu 0),
page 32.
To set the call barring option:
³ Press MENU 1 4. The message
SECURITY?
prompts you to enter your security code.
· Enter your 5-digit security code (default 12345).
The number will be displayed as asterisks
(
*****
), then press STO. If the correct code has
been entered, the currently-selected option will be
displayed.
» Press or to select the call barring option you
prefer.
¿ Press STO to confirm the setting.
Note: When calls are restricted, calls may be possible
to the emergency number programmed into your
phone (e.g. 911, 112 or other official emergency
number). However, one key emergency dialing
('the 9 key')
may not operate depending on the type
of restriction you chose.
Memory Lock (Menu 15)
This function allows you to restrict access to all memory
locations:
MEM NORMAL
The phone operates normally (no memory restrictions).
MEM READ ONLY
Storing is not allowed to any location (but any location
can be recalled).
MEM NO ACCESS
Storing or recalling is not allowed (all locations).
NOTE: This option will be partially overridden if the
ALLOW M90-M95
Call barring option (Menu 14), page
41, is selected.
To set the memory-locking option:
