False:
All accessories with the Nokia trademar
k are original ones.
True: Nokia original accessories are suppli
ed in an elegant sales package (complying
with national package regulations)
, and each battery carries a hologram labe
l. It is
recommended that consumers are aware
of counterfeit Nokia accessories on the
market. In particular, some dealers m
ight remove the original battery from the
supplied handset, which violates our
distribution policies and infringes on
consumer's rights.
False:
Despite low quality, counterfeit batt
ery is much cheaper and is worthwhile
even if it requires frequent replacem
ent.
True:
Unapproved batteries and chargers are
not only of short lifetime and poor
performance, but will noticeably undermi
ne the handset's performance and redu
ce
its lifetime. It is also deprived of com
prehensive after-sales maintenance and r
epair.
Most important, unapproved batteries a
nd chargers pose safety threats to
consumers. Losses in these regards far
exceed the savings on price. In fact, wi
th
inferior raw materials and irregular desi
gns, some counterfeit batteries cost less th
an
1/10 of original products.

Up to 200 minutes(GSM)
Standby
Up to 210 hours (TD-SCDMA)
Up to 200 hours(GSM)
Important:
Battery talk and stand-by times are estima

optimal network conditions. Actual ba
ttery talk and standby times depend on SI
M
cards, features used, battery age a
nd condition, temperatures to which batte
ry is
exposed, network conditions, and many o
ther factors, and may be significantly
shorter than those specified above. Ri
nging tones, hands free call handling, use i

digital mode, and other features will also
consume the battery, and the amount of
time a device is used for calls will af
fect its stand-by time. Likewise, the amount
of
time that the device is turned on and in t
he standby mode will affect its talk time

Battery and charger information
Your device is powered by a recharg
eable battery. The battery intended for us
e with
this device is BL-6F. Nokia may make a
dditional battery models available for this
device. This device is intended for use wh
en supplied with power from the fo
llowing
chargers: AC-8. The exact charger mo
del number may vary depending on the ty
pe of
plug. The plug variant is identified by on
e of the following: E, EB, X, AR, U, A, C, K, o
r
UB. For example, the model numbers
for the charger can be, among others, AC
-8C,
AC-8U, AC-8X, etc. The charger model offe
red to China mainland is AC-8C.
The battery can be charged and discharg
ed hundreds of times, but it will eventual
ly
wear out. When the talk and standb
y times are noticeably shorter than norm
al,
replace the battery. Use only Nokia ap
proved batteries, and recharge your battery
only with Nokia approved charger
s designated for this device.
If a battery is being used for the first
time or if the battery has not been used fo
r a
prolonged period, it may be neces
sary to connect the charger, then disconnect
and
reconnect it to begin charging the b
attery. If the battery is completely dischar
ged, it
may take several minutes before the char
ging indicator appears on the display or
before any calls can be made.
Safe removal. Always switch the dev
ice off and disconnect the charger befor
e
removing the battery.
Proper charging. Unplug the charg
er from the electrical plug and the device
when
not in use. Do not leave a fully charged
battery connected to a charger, since
overcharging may shorten its lifetime. If l
eft unused, a fully charged battery will lose
its charge over time.
Avoid extreme temperatures. Always
try to keep the battery between 15°C and
25°C
(59°F and 77°F). Extreme temperatures re
duce the capacity and lifetime of the
battery. A device with a hot or cold
battery may not work temporarily. Batt
ery
performance is particularly limited in temp
eratures well below freezing.
Do not short-circuit. Accidental short-circui
ting can occur when a metallic object such
as a coin, clip, or pen causes direct conne
ction of the positive (+) and negative
(-)
terminals of the battery. (These look lik
e metal strips on the battery.) This might
