Scroll until Change restriction password appears and press the roller.

Enter the current restriction password and press OK.

Enter the new restriction password and press OK.

Re-enter the new restriction password for verification and press OK.

• SIM card security
You can protect your phone against unauthorized use by setting it to
request your PIN code every time the phone is switched on. The PIN code
is usually supplied with the SIM card. If not, contact your service provider.
To change your PIN code, see “Change your PIN code” on page 69.
Note:
If you enter an incorrect PIN code 3 times in a row, the SIM card
is blocked and you’ll need to enter the PUK code to unblock.

At the Start screen, press Menu.

Scroll to On and press the roller.

• Module security
Added security for analog networks is provided via the Module security
feature. Module security prevents unauthorized use of the optional AMPS
module by requesting a code upon power-up. The AMPS module must be
attached for this feature to show up on your menu.
