Applications
12 Applications
Your phone supports J2ME™ Java applications. You will find some Java
applications and games pre-installed on your phone. Also, you can
manage and download new applications and games from your service provider.
Running some applications and games may consume the battery faster. You
may need to connect the phone to the charger.
•Games
Start a game
1 Select Menu > Applications > Games > Select game, a game, and Open.
2 To begin a new game, select New game.
3 To read the games rules, select Instructions.
Options
While viewing the games list, select Options to display the following options:
Delete—Delete the game.
Details—Display details of the game.
Update version—Check if a new version of the game is available for download.
Web page—Get more information or additional data from a mobile Internet
page. This feature is shown only if it is supported by the network and a mobile
Internet address has been provided by the game.
App. access—Choose whether the game should be allowed to access the
network. You can require that the game ask every time it tries to access the
network, ask only the first time, always access the network without asking, or
never access the network.
Downloads
Your phone supports J2ME Java applications. During downloading the compatibility
is checked, and the downloading is interrupted if the phone does not support
the application.
1 Select Menu > Applications > Games > Game downloads and one of the
bookmarks displayed.
To access the list of bookmarks in the Web menu, select More bookmarks.
2 Select Select.
The phone connects to the Web pages using the currently active set of
browser settings. If the connection fails, you may enter the Web menu and
activate another set of service settings. See “Set up for browsing” on page 80.
When downloading a game, it may be saved in the Collection menu instead of
the Games menu.
