Using services
Once you have stored all the required connection settings you can start using a service. For
information on the required settings, please contact your service provider.
Activating a connection set
Before starting to use a service, you need to activate the connection set for that service.
1. Press Menu, scroll to the Services and press Select.
2. Scroll to Settings and press Select.
3. Press Select when Connection settings is displayed.
4. Scroll to the desired connection set and press Options. Then scroll to Activate and press Select.
Starting to use a service
As the services that are available vary, this user guide can give you only some of the basic guidelines on
how to use services. For more detailed information on using a specific service, please contact the
service provider and follow the guide texts on your phone’s display.
1. Activate the connection set of the service, see Activating a connection set on page 91.
2. When in the standby mode, press Menu, scroll to the Services and press Select.
3. To connect to the homepage of the service, press Select when Home is highlighted.
When connected to the homepage, follow the guiding texts on the phone’s display. While you are
browsing a service, pressing Options displays the currently available option list. If you, for example,
want to extract numbers from the current service, use the option Use number.
Tip: Depending on the service, you may also use the key for various purposes. It may
be used, e.g., to select the highlighted option.
