Data and fax communications
7. Data and fax communications
Your phone allows you to transfer data to other devices when it is connected to a PC via an IR
connection or a serial cable.
To send and receive e-mail and faxes, connect to computers and access the Internet, you also need the
appropriate data and fax communications software installed on your computer. You can use the Nokia
6210 with a variety of commercially available data and fax communications applications.
For using your phone as a modem, you first need to install it as a modem. Detailed installation
instructions and the required system files can be found on the CD-ROM supplied with the phone or on
the Nokia website ( www.forum.nokia.com).
