• SAVE THE VOICE MAILBOX NUMBER
Your wireless provider may have already saved your voice mailbox number
to your phone. If so, the number will appear in the screen in step 2. Press
OK to leave the number unchanged.
1 Press Menu 01-11-2 (Messages > Voice messages > Voice mailbox
number).
The Mailbox number box appears.
2 Enter your voice mailbox number, then press OK.
Note: The number can be up to 48 digits long.
Tip: Save yourself the trouble of entering the mailbox codes each
time you dial voice mail. See “Automate voice mail with dialing
codes” on page 65 in this section for more information.
• SET UP YOUR VOICE MAIL
1 After you’ve saved the voice mailbox number, press and hold .
2 Once you connect and the pre-recorded greeting begins, follow the
automated instructions to setup your voice mail.
Listen to your voice messages
Once you’ve setup voice mail, you can dial the number one of 4 ways:
• Dial the number using the keypad
• Press and hold
• Press Listen if there’s a notification message in the screen
• Press Menu 01-11-1 (Messages - Voice messages - Listen to
voice messages). After a brief pause, your phone dials the voice
mail number.
