Camera
With the built-in camera of your device, you can take
photos or record videos of people or events while on the
move. Your device produces JPEG photos and 3GP videos.
To open Camera:
From the Home screen, press the
Start
soft key and select
Camera
, or press and hold .
Taking photos
When you access Camera mode, the main display is
activated as a viewfinder.
1. Adjust the image to be captured.
• Press the Up or Down Navigation key to zoom in or
out.
• Press the Left or Right Navigation key to adjust the
brightness of the image.
• Press the
Menu
soft key to access the camera options.

• Use the number keypad to adjust the image quickly.
See page 115.
2. Press , , or the thumbwheel to take a photo.
3. Press the
Save
soft key, , , or the thumbwheel to
save the photo.
The photo is saved in the location specified in the
Default
Storage
option. After saving the photo, the
camera automatically returns to Photo Preview mode.
