Time and date
This menu allows you to change the format and settings for the time
and date display.
1.
From the Idle screen
, press
(Menu
)
➔ Settings ➔
Personalize ➔ Time and Date.
2. Highlight Time zone updating and press the Left or right
Navigation key to select from one of the following:
• Manual only: you need to manually set the time zone, time
and date.
• Prompt first: you are prompted before a time change is
applied.
• Automatic: the phone automatically updates the time and
date according to the current time zone using the network
service.
Important! time zones are based upon Greenwich Mean Time.
To manually set the time zone, time and date:
1. Highlight the Home zone field and press .
2. Use the Left or Right Navigation key to locate your time zone.
The corresponding area of the world map is indicated by a
vertical line.
3. If Daylight Saving time applies, highlight the Daylight saving
checkbox and press , then press (OK).
4. Select the Time field and enter the time in the following format:
HH:MM. Highlight AM/PM and use the right navigation key to
toggle the setting.
