Section 2J: Using the miniSD Card 197
Note:To avoid loss of data, DO NOTremove the USB cable, the miniSD card
or the battery while files are being accessed or transferred.
Note:Make sure to follow the proper procedure (step 7 on the previous
page) when you disconnectthe USB cable. Your computer may no longer
detectyour handsetwhen you disconnectit several times improperly.
Note:DO NOTchange or editthe folder/file name in the miniSD card via the
computer or attemptto transfer large amounts of data from the computer
to the miniSD card. Itmay resultin miniSD card failure.
Note:DO NOTturn off, put into standby mode or restartyour computer
while using the Mass Storage Device. It will resultin loss or damage of data.
Note:While you are connected to the computer, your phone’s screen will
display “Phone Off.”You cannotmake or receive calls.
Note:When you connecta Mass Storage device to a peripheral device, your
device may notwork properly.
Note:Fixed folders are displayed when you access to the miniSD via your
computer. Your data is sorted as follows:
DCIM folder: pictures, videos
EPM folder: additional information of the data in DCIM folder
MEDIA folder: Media Player data
MISC folder: DPOF data
Voice folder: voice data
