connected to external power and the battery is charging, the
display alternates between the battery icon and the charging

• The SMS icon ( ) appears when you receive a text mail
message (alternates with the globe icon).
• The Voice Mail icon ( ) appears when you receive a voice
mail message (alternates with the globe icon).
