2.1 View Mail List
1. Log in to OpenHand (section 1.6) and click on the
OpenHand Main Menu.
2. The Inbox Mail List page is displayed.

3. Emails are displayed in descending order of date received:
- Unread emails are displayed in green
- Emails with attachments are marked with a
in the third column.
- Emails with appointment requests, or acknowledgements, are
marked with an ! in the third column.
4. Click
to return to the OpenHand Main Menu.
2.1.1 The Mail Options Menu
The Mail Options Menu is a pop-up menu that appears when you click
on an individual email in the Mail List page. Options for each email are
accessed through the Mail Options Menu.

2.1.2 Access another Mail Folder
1. On the Mail List page, click

2. The
Folder List page is displayed.
3. There are three main folder types. These are:
a. Local folders for storing off line information.
b. On-line folders for real time access to information.
c. Files, for access to information held on your central file
server in the office (this option appears only when
authorised by your IT manager).
4. Local folders are split in four ways. These are:
