ThisphonefeaturesanembeddedGlobalPositioningSystem(GPS)chipnecessaryforutilizing
E911emergencylocationserviceswhereavailable.Whenyouplaceanemergency911call,the
GPSfeatureofyourphoneseeksinformationtocalculateyourapproximatelocation.Dependingon
severalvariables,includingavailabilityandaccesstosatellitesignals,itmaytakeupto30secondsor
moretodetermineandreportyourapproximatelocation.
Important:Always report your location to the 911 operator when placing an emergency
call.Somedesignatedemergencycalltakers,knownasPublicSafetyAnsweringPoints(PSAPs)
maynotbeequippedtoreceiveGPSlocationinformationfromyourphone.
