Viewing System Status
At any time, you may press the
¤
Menu Control button to display the status of the system at that
moment (Figure OSD-26). The screen will show whether you have selected a source from the Watch
or Listen source menus, the name of the source, the specific audio and video inputs associated with
that source, the Surround mode and the settings of key attributes associated with the Surround
mode, such as high- and low-frequency equalization.

To exit the System Status menu, simply press the

Menu Control buttons on the remote.
Viewing the Digital Mode Status
When a digital source is in use, pressing the
Menu Control button will display the paramaters
and status of an incomming digital signal (Figure OSD-27). When the signal is Dolby Digital encoded,
an icon will appear for each active channel, as well as a readout of the sampling frequency, data bit rate
and presence of LFE information, if applicable (Figure OSD-28).
