Set Up SMS Cell
Broadcast
If SMS Cell Broadcast is supported by
your service provider and region, you
can receive text messages broadcast to
multiple subscribers in the area.
1. Press the key.
2. Tap
Settings > Personal > Phone.
3. From the slider menu at the top of
the screen, select Channel.
4. Select the
Enable SMS Cell
Broadcast check box.
5. Tap
Set Languages, select one or
more languages, and tap OK.
6. Tap
Set Channels, select one or
more channels, and tap OK.
Add a New Channel
1. Press the key.
2. Tap
Settings > Personal > Phone.
3. From the slider menu at the top of
the screen, select Channel.
4. Tap
Set Channels > New.
5. Enter the channel name and
number, and tap OK.
