36 Using the Music Player
Tip: Use the and keys on the left side of
the phone to adjust the volume when the music is
playing. Press to pause a song and to
resume it.
Saving songs to the playlist
You can select songs to the playlist and play just
those songs on your phone.
1. Select Menu Tones & Images
MP3 Player
2.
Press to select options.
3. Highlight List and press .
4. Highlight the song you wish to select and
press .
5. Highlight Select Play and press to select
the song for the playlist.
6. Scroll through the list and press to
continue selecting songs to the playlist.
7. When you have completed your selection,
press to select Back. The message
“Save to playlist?” will appear.
8. Select to save your selections to
the playlist.
Note: The next time you use the and
keys the songs selected to the playlist will play.
Managing music player settings
You can set personal preferences for skins and
play options in your music player.
To access the music player settings:
1. Select MenuTones & Images
MP3 Player.
2.
Press to select options.
3. Highlight List and press .
4. Choose an option from the Settings menu:
Sound Effect assigns a sound effect to the
selected song.
Repeat keeps repeating the selected song
or stops the selected song from repeating.
Random plays the songs in your playlist in
a random order.
Volume adjusts the volume of the
music player.
Skin changes the appearance of the music
player screen.
Troubleshooting
Scenario: Song is not playing
Try renaming the file on your PC, removing any
special characters, spaces, and limiting the length
to 20 characters long.
If the file still does not play:
The file type may not be supported.
The file may be DRM (digital rights
management) protected.
The file may be corrupted.
Scenario: Audio is choppy
The audio file may be corrupted, but the
audio still plays. Check your audio file
for corruption.
